My son is a 6th grader at Deal and I couldn't be happier with the school. Students, Teachers, and administrators are smart and caring. Everything is well organized and students excel academically. I couldn''t ask for a better school for my son.

Deal is not good, Deal is AWESOME!!! I`m a veteran teacher with 20+years under my belt and have never seen more gifted and/or better behaved group of kids anywhere. It`s a pleasure to walk everyday in the quiet and orderly hallways where children are engaged and excited about their lessons. This is my experience with Deal, and next year my son will enroll as a 6th grader. It will be hard for him to leave his friends at a private school, but we feel that Deal`s education is the best in DC.

My 14 year old started here last year and it has been one bullying incident after another. Assaulted on school grounds on several occasions and all I hear about from the students is how many fights go on every single day. Its insane that our children have to fear going to school because nothing is done about the fighting. It seems that no one cares....maybe its time to get the local news channels to go in unannounced and get an inside look at the REAL DEAL. Our children have the right to be safe in school and go to school without being afraid of who's going to bully them next!

Kaya Henderson needs to pay an unannounced visit to this school. I agree that the special education program at Deal is the worst that I've ever seen!! The minority students at this school are treated horribly. Dare to complain to the administrators about your displeasure with their staff and your child will become a target. There are fights everyday! The classes and halls are very overcrowded. Please do your homework before enrolling your
Child at Deal. My child has been robbed in the hall, beat up while using the restroom, bullied and mistreated by teachers who are
supposed to protect the students. Parents please do your homework about this school. Im not a disgruntled parent making false accusations. I have pictures of my child's bruises, medical documents, complaints to DCPS and the list goes on. My child is trapped in this war zone until June before we can transfer. Be smart about Deal,
