School Reviews

Good school, could be much better.
Bucknell and Geisinger mean the school gets lots of really bright kids with highly involved parents. They come in well prepared from middle school. Poor college placement and mediocre leadership mar what could be an absolute top school.
High rankings in the US News survey owe more to the quality of the student body than to what the school does to develop its students.
It's still te best school in the immediate area, and it offers plenty of AP options, great kids to go to school with, active alumni and parents, and a chance to an active participant in a small school, rather than lost in the pack in a big school.
Keep in mind that the immediate area is rural Pennsylvania. If you are too flagrant a blue state kind of person, you might run into problems with the many conservative faculty and administrators.
