School Reviews

This is a fantastic high school under the leadership of Dr. Abel. I have three children who have all graduated in the last four years (2013-2016) from Patterson Mill and they were accepted to the colleges of their choice and satisfactorily prepared to tackle university level work. They participated in award winning music programs, state qualifying athletic teams and were pushed to do their best. Is every teacher a 10? No - there is no perfect school, but the faculty here have grown together over the last 10 years. Parents are super involved at this school and activities are packed - arrive early or it's standing room only. I love my neighborhood and the schools they attended, including Patterson Mill, Emmorton Elementary and Homestead Wakefield Elementary

My kids attend this school because I cannot afford to send them to a private school. There are a number of very committed and qualified instructors there but they seem to be the exception and not the rule. The school is new and likely had to select most of its faculty from individuals whom C. Milton Wright and Bel Air rejected. I do think they are improving though.
