Springwater is not only an amazing education for my daughters, it's a wonderful community, where the parents are very involved in learning and the families get to know and support each other. The teachers are truly dedicated to knowing each student and honoring who they are, and helping each student reach his/her full potential. I love how they infuse science and scientific inquiry into all subjects to instill and maintain children's love of learning, and how hands on the learning is by having the students learn outside - and learn to love the outside! - during Friday Field Studies. Finally, this is a school where the teachers explicitly teach character traits like kindness, respect, caring, empathy, etc - these are just as important in children's growth and development as academics! As a K-8 community, the students really work and learn together, and have opportunities for both learning from mentors, and exhibiting leadership.
I couldn't recommend a school more highly, and feel so lucky for this to be my daughters'' K-8 educational experience!
