School Reviews
4 2/11/2020
My overall experience with this school has been extremely frustrating. It is difficult to have real meaningful conversations about issues because of the school's unwillingness to take responsibility and acknowledge the school is in decline. There is a lack of urgency to shift the school's culture and tackle its issues head on - which ultimately is detrimental to the education of the hundreds of children that roam its halls each day. Teachers are hit or miss - they are either Awesome, or mediocre. Communication with teachers is the same hit or miss. The past two years have shown a huge decline in the overall culture within the school. Discipline is enforced in an inconsistent and bias manner; physical altercations and bullying have vastly increased - without consistency in discipline and holding students accountable I am worried for the future of the school and the students. Previous years I had confidence and confirmation that matters of bullying were addressed and set expectations were upheld. However, my experience over the past two years lends a firm opinion that the school does not effectively deal with bullying. This goes back to inconsistency in discipline and bias in discipline.
